I graduated from the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen with a Bachelor's degree in Forestry Science in 2019 and a Master's degree in Forestry Science and Forest Conservation in 2022. During my Master's thesis I started working with ectomycorrhizal fungi and gained experience in laboratory work and microbiological techniques. My master thesis was supervised by Prof. Polle and I joined the RTG2300 as an associated PhD student in subproject 4.
PhD Research Project
I am investigating the effects of summer drought on the functions of ectomycorrhizal fungi in different forest types.
