Research Interests
I am interested in the interfaces between evolutionary ecology, biodiversity-ecosystem functioning, and restoration ecology. My current research focuses on integrating taxonomic, functional, and phylogenetic diversity into Restoration ecology. I am greatly interested in the mechanisms shaping plant communities and theory-driven ecological restoration and conservation of tropical ecosystems. I am a Postdoctoral researcher in the Biodiversity Enrichment Experiment (EFForTS-BEE), working with ecosystem restoration in oil palm landscapes in Sumatra, Indonesia. I am part of the TreeDivNet network and the Global Restore Project.
