Research Interests
My research explores the fascinating interplay between biodiversity, ecosystem function, and land-use change in the tropical rainforests of Sumatra, Indonesia. I'm particularly interested in understanding how above- and below-ground communities respond to these changes, and whether different facets of diversity are uniformly affected. Ultimately, my goal is to uncover how these changes impact the complex relationships between biodiversity and ecosystem function in this unique region.
