Erasmus - Information for Guest Students
Thanks to its central location, Göttingen is an excellent starting point to discover Germany. Whether you want to travel to the sea in the North or the Alps in the South, Göttingen is well connected to the railway network and offers direct connections to most large cities in the country (Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt...). The town's atmosphere is quite cosy and researchers, academics, teachers and students from around the globe give the cityscape an international flair all year round.
Your university has an Erasmus+ exchange agreement with our faculty and you would like to study Geography/Earth Science/Ecosystem management in Göttingen? You will find all practical information on the webpage from our International Office (application procedure, accommodation service, language classes...).
The list of courses given at the Faculty of Geoscience and Geography can be found here. In addition, a course catalogue listing the different modules offered in English throughout the university is also available (search for "Faculty of Geoscience and Geography").
