Forschungsinteressen

My interest lies in the complex dynamics and interrelations between forests and atmosphere. For my master’s thesis, I therefore examined the water use efficiency response of boreal forests to drought events. My PhD study is part of the CLIMB-FOREST project and aims to quantify forest resilience to drought stress at larger temporal and spatial scales. I focus on the links between forest structure and CO₂, H₂O, and energy fluxes, using eddy covariance and LiDAR data as well as model projections.
