Institute for Special Research

In the 1970’s numerous research activities developed by the Faculty were gathered in a particular Institute for Special Research (IfS = Institut für Spezialforschung) , so that the money for the library and for the projects employees – obtained also from outside funding – should be administrated more effectively. Each department of the IfS corresponds to long-term research focal points developed by each chair.
