Financing your studies as international students
Studying costs money. Every semester, for example, the so-called semester fee must be paid to the university.
It consists of the administrative fee, the student body fee (including semester tickets) and the student union fee. The individual living costs for rent, food, etc. are added on top of this, of course.
However, there are no tuition fees at public universities in Germany.
You will find detailed information on financing studies for international students on the websites of our international office.
