Support in entering the labour market for international students
After completing your studies in Germany and you are a non-EU/EEA citizen, you can remain in the country up to 18 months as a university graduate to find a job that matches your qualifications.
We hope that you have spent a good and successful time in Göttingen and would be pleased if you would stay connected with us in the future! We would be delighted if you would join one of our alumni networks!
The Alumni Network of the University of Göttingen is free of charge. You can register with the following link and then assign yourself to different groups according to your interests. You can also become a member of the University of Göttingen's fee-based Alumni Association:
The Career Service supports you in your orientation process and in professionalizing your career management.
„Start Guides“ support international immigrants in entering the regional labour market. The project is funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics, Labour, Transportation and Digitalisation.
