Research Interests
I'm a forest scientist interested in macroecological multi-faceted diversity patterns across gradients on islands and island-like ecosystems. During my PhD, I investigate the relationship between different facets of biodiversity (i.e. taxonomic, phylogenetic and functional) and primary productivity on oceanic islands. Additionally, I investigate plant diversity trends across elevations worldwide and the processes and factors mediating them.
