How to apply to OpenILIAS
OpenILIAS is an e-learning platform that you can use to improve and enhance your Digital Humanities skills.After opening the website openilias.uni-goettingen.de you can directly change the language to English for easier handling. The button is located in the upper right corner and marked with a red frame in the screenshot.
The next step is to create a new account for your private use and to save your progress. You will find the next click “New Account Registration” at the lower left under the Login. It is marked with a red square in the screenshot.
On the next page, you create your profile with only a few informations. Before you can click on register, you have to agree to the terms of service.
After registering, you will receive two messages to the email address you provided. The first one is the activation of your account with a confirmation link (and you must click on the link).
After clicking on the link, you will need to check your email account again to find the second email with your password to log in to OpenILIAS.
After this procedure you have access to OpenILIAS und you can start the e-learning lessons.
