Development Economics of India Study Focus

The study focus “Development Economics of India” offers the opportunity to combine the interdisciplinary approach of Modern Indian Studies with topics and methods in development economics. As integral part of the Master’s programme, students in this study focus must complete four modules in Development Economics for a total of 24 credit units, and a Master’s thesis in the field of Development Economics of India for 30 credit units.

For admission to the study focus, 30 of the 50 credit units required for admission to the programme have to come from development economics (microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and development economics).
