Curriculum Vitae

Georgia joined the Chair for Social-Ecological Interactions in Agricultural Systems as a PhD Student in September 2023. She holds a Bachelor’s degree on Forest and Natural Environment Sciences from the International Hellenic University (Greece), and in her thesis she explored wildlife knowledge and attitudes toward hunting in a comparative hunter - non-hunter analysis. She has, also, graduated from the Master’s program “Water, Biosphere and Climate Change” by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece), and for her thesis she investigated land cover change in Ikaria island, Greece.


Research Foci

Her research interests focus on human-nature relationships and Mediterranean landscapes. During her PhD studies, she will explore the relational values local actors attribute to agricultural terraces in Greece, and attitudes towards the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP 2023-2027); aiming to contribute to future policy planning and management of terraced landscapes in the Mediterranean Region.
