Netwoking Dinner - Establish the contacts to promote your career path!
The Networking Dinner is a core component of the symposium's interactive concept. In the personal atmosphere of a restaurant, you can discuss ideas, concepts and plans with the speakers, other invited guests and participants. In this environment, you will be able to ask all questions you always wanted to ask but never had the chance to. Do not forget that networking is a powerful tool for career development!
This year, the Networking Dinner will take place at the restaurant Bullerjahn in Göttingen, on 19th of March 2019, starting at 7pm. Vegetarian options will be also available.
The number of participants is kept small to make sure that the event keeps its intimate character and gives you the opportunity to talk to the speakers you are interested in. Therefore Networking Dinner participation is limited!
Interested participants will be selected based on their career profile. For that, we would like you to provide us with a short career profile (in English, not more than 150 words).
Moreover, we will also need a high-quality picture of yourself since your profile as well as your contact details together with your picture will be printed in a networking booklet. This will be handed over to each dinner participant at the registration desk, which will enable productive and effective networking. Those booklets will be handed out only to participants of the Networking Dinner and will otherwise be kept private. Note that providing a picture is not mandatory and if printing a picture of yourself in the dinner booklet is uncomfortable to you, this will not be an exclusion criteria to be considered for the networking dinner.
A career profile may include:
- Educational background
- Current field of work / occupational interests
- Personal situation
- Personal interests / hobbies
- Future plans
The additional fee for the attendance of the Networking Dinner amounts to 20,00 € which should be transferred only after your application has been confirmed. Meal, water and the first drink (beer, house wine, soft drink, etc.) are included, further drinks have to be paid individually.
