Students have to score 22 Credit points (ECTS) from compulsory modules (19 C) and one compulsory elective module (3 C).

P.Che. 1601 Current developments in catalysis research (4 C / 4 weekly lecture hours)
1. Lecture: “Current developments in catalysis research” (2 C)

2. Workshop: “Highlights of catalysis research” (2 C)

P.Che. 1602 Modern methods and practice of catalysis (4 C / 5 weekly lecture hours)
1. Lecture or workshop:"Spectroscopic methods in catalysis research" (1 C)
2. Lecture or workshop:"Kinetic methods for elucidation of reaction mechanisms" (1 C)
3. Lecture or workshop:"High throughput process and automatized syntheses" (1 C)
4. Lecture or workshop:"Computational methods in catalysis research" (1 C)
Three of these four courses have to be chosen. Every course is finalized with a non-graded written or oral examination.
5. Industry excursion: "Catalysis in practice" (1 C)
P.Che. 1603 Catalysis in the chemical context (6 C / 6 weekly lecture hours)
Seminar: three presentations of approx. 30 min and scientific discussion
P.Che. 1604 Presentation and discussion of results (5 C / 8 weekly lecture hours)
