Teacher Education Plus: (Inter)cultural Competences
During this Erasmus funded program, students from Göttingen and our BEST Exchange partner universities Tatu and Uppsala will explore the topic of intercultural competences theoretically and practically.
The on-campus part of the will take place November 23rd-30th 2022. There will be 4 two-hour online sessions on Fridays 14:00-16:00 from October 28th until November 18th, during which the participating students will get to know each other and start working together.
From November 23rd until November 30th, all participants will get together in Göttingen, to continue their work, visit local schools and other educational institutions and get to know the town and area. More information can be found in the schedule.
Göttingen students will participate in the workshops as well as the team work sessions. Of course, we encourage them to participate in the social events in the evenings as well. When their schedule is overlapping, they can be excused form a workshop or group work session, but only for up to 20% of the seminar. They must always inform the lecturers and their group in advance. The number of participants is limited due to the limits of funding of the BIP.
On Campus Program
We are usually located at Waldweg 26 (WW26), at the LuLZ (German for Teachers' Rooms) or at the SUB Library's Digital Creative Space (DCS). Other meeting points will be communicated with students while in Göttingen.
