I am focusing on how seed priming treatments boost the vigour of seeds and seedlings at the genetic level in Brassica napus L. (rapeseed), especially under stress conditions. By applying techniques like GWAS, QTL mapping, and RNA-seq analysis, I want to uncover candidate genes involved in seed and seedling vigour in response to priming treatments under control and drought conditions. I am currently employed at DSV, collaborating in partnership with the Division of Crop Plant Genetics at the University of Goettingen, Germany where I am registered as a PhD student.
