SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

The complex network of neurons that defines our very identity has sparked my deep interest in understanding the human brain. Conducting my own research allowed me to engage with the entire research process and this fueled my ambition to become a neuroscientist. My neurogenomics internship exposed me to hands-on research on neurodegenerative diseases, intensifying my desire to work on these conditions. In the future, my goal is to continue my career as a researcher focused on the treatment of neurological diseases, ultimately having an impact on the humanity. I am highly motivated to conduct hands-on research in the field of neuroscience, explore new molecular mechanisms and develop new therapeutic approaches to neurodegenerative diseases in the near future.
