European Identity, Cultural Diversity and Political Change
For several weeks researchers from the Russian partner universities (including the Russian Academy of Sciences) stay at the Department of Ecumenical Theology in Göttingen. They give insights into their research projects, all of which have to do with the relationship between Russia and Europe. Guest scholars also have opportunity to relate their project to the religious aspect of this relationship, which is being particularly investigated at the university of Göttingen. All the Russian guest scholars presented their work to the students in some lively interactions. They also participated in the conference on the genocide in the Ottoman Empire, which was organised by the Department of Ecumenical Theology from 7 to 9 November 2014.
