Steps towards an E-Examination
To ensure the smooth conduct of an e-examination, preparation should ideally begin at the start of the semester . While the e-examination service (if necessary in cooperation with the IT Services) provides technical and organizational support throughout the examination process and, if required, introduces instructors to the authoring and examination system, the content-related design of the exam questions is, of course, the responsibility of the instructors.
The preparation of the exam questions should be completed two weeks prior to the examination date in order to allow for a content-related and formal review by subject-matter colleagues as well as the timely transfer of the questions into the examination system.
In order to set up the examination system access credentials that are valid only for the respective examination, the e-examination service retrieves the most up-to-date participant lists from the examination administration system FlexNow one day in advance . If this is not possible, the persons responsible for the examination must provide the final participant lists no later than two days before the examination date , in order to allow the e-examination service to clarify any open questions.
In addition, please inform us at an early stage if there are students who, for example, require extended writing time or a special working environment, so that this can be taken into account when allocating seats.
Please keep us informed of any developments affecting the conduct of the e-examination by email.
