Third Subject Programme (Italian) (teaching profession)
Programme description:
In the Third Subject Programme for Italian, the course of studies includes the subject-related curriculum of the two-subject Bachelor's degree programme Italian Studies. The B.It.106 module (subject-specific communication skills, 3 C) is in this case replaced by the B.It.105 module (introduction to specialised didactics for Italian, 6 C) so that the teacher training curriculum during basic studies contains 69 C.
During main studies, modules from the Language Teaching, Linguistics/Literature/Regional and Cultural Studies and Specialised Didactics sub-departments must be completed:
Language Teaching
In the language teaching module M.Rom.It.601 (6 C) students improve their language competence in the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills areas to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF).
Linguistics/Literature/Regional and Cultural Studies
The academic module M.It.L.302 (8 C) expands the competencies in two of the three sub-departments listed here.
Specialised Didactics
The Specialised Didactics module M.It.L.305 (4 C) involves issues, methods and results of specialised didactic research.
