If there are more students who chose the specialisation area than there are places available, the spots will be assigned according to the results of the university entrance qualifications. In case of equal ranks, the spots are drawn by lot. The specialisation area Educational Science can only be chosen in combination with Educational Science as 1st or 2nd social-scientific subject.
The choice of your subjects and of the specialisation area within the B.A. course Social Sciences generally takes place at the end of your first semester within the context of a mandatory study consultation with the Director of Studies (the essay within the module B.Sowi.400 provides the basis for this consultation).

When applying for an educational Master degree course, achievements in the area of social-scientific methods (14C) and a bachelor thesis in Educational Sciences should be accredited as subject related additionally to the credit points of the above mentioned module packages.
