Are you interested in studying abroad? Then: Welcome to this page! Studying abroad is a unique experience and always worth it!

Classical Philology now cooperates with numerous universities in various European countries. For student mobility, the department offers several places at different levels of study (Bachelor’s, Master’s, doctoral level) and is therefore very well positioned.
If you are interested in studying abroad, simply arrange a consultation with the Erasmus coordinator of our department, Anna Wiegand. Here, all your questions about the program, the application process, credit recognition, or study planning can be discussed. You can also address any uncertainties about whether you are suitable for going abroad or which country might be the best choice for you.
General information about the Erasmus+ program can be found on the website of Göttingen International.
Once a year (usually at the end of November/beginning of December), there is also an information evening on Erasmus+ organized by Classical Philology, which will be announced in advance. Everyone interested in obtaining non-binding information is warmly invited to attend!
