»Begin successfully! Ideas for an outstanding start into your studies«
How do students manage a good start in their studies? How can the University of Goettingen help its students to optimize a successful begin?
The University of Goettingen kindly invites all its students to submit innovative proposals on the annual "Ideas Competition for Students" with the topic »Begin successfully! Ideas for an outstanding start into your studies«. This year the deadline is May 22th, 2015.
How to apply?
The contest is open to individuals and teams. Please explain briefly your proposal or idea, the current situation and possible ways of implementation.
For example, this might involve the following topics:
So if you have interesting ideas on teaching and learning at the University of Goettingen but so far you do not know how to bring them about, it's quite simple: join in, take part and change things! All students are invited to participate.
You can win cash prizes and other different prizes worth a total of 3,000 euros!
The Ideas Competition is being held under the aegis of the Vice President for Teaching and Learning, Professor Dr. Ruth Florack.
Please note: neither comments or complaints without concrete proposals for solutions nor improvements that are already in development will be counted as entries to the Ideas Competition.
Terms of participation and deadline for entries
To enter, please send your ideas until 22th May 2015 (informally, non-specific form)
by e-mail to ideenwettbewerb[at]uni-goettingen.de (Subject: "Mobile learning" Ideas Competition 2014 [your name])
or per post to: Representative for Academic Quality, Subject: Ideas Competition 2014, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Wilhelmsplatz 2, 37073 Göttingen.
Your proposal should include your contact details (name, address, e-mail address, telephone number (where available) and matriculation number) and the following:
a) a brief description of the current situation,
b) an explanation of your suggestion (if an existing situation, explain why change is desirable) and possible ways of implementation,
c) the improvements to be achieved with.
