Biography
Alois Nacke (born 1960) studied Social Sciences and Law at Muenster University from 1979 to 1989. He subsequently did his doctorate in the area of legal history. He was departmental head of the appeals division and the tax audit department of the Wilhelmshaven tax office for several years. In 1999, he was appointed as judge at the Tax Court of Lower Saxony. Since January 2016, Dr. Nacke has been a judge at the German Federal Tax Court. He belongs to the XI Senate. Dr. Nacke co-authored the commentaries Herrmann/Heuer/Raupach, Income Tax Act, Corporate income Tax Act (loose-leaf), Blümich, Income Tax Act, Corporate Income Tax Act, Trade Tax Act (loose-leaf) and Littmann/Bitz/Pust, Income Tax Act (loose-leaf). Moreover, he authored and edited the following textbooks: Nacke, Die Haftung für Steuerschulden, 3rd ed. 2012; Nacke, Taxation of Real Estate, in Lemke (Ed.), Real estate law, commentary, 2012; and Kanzler/Nacke (Ed.), Current Tax Law (book series since 2008).
Lecturing
He lectures in the courses `Fiscal Law´and ´Legal Methods´. The lecture series on ´Fiscal Law´provides an overview of procedural tax law. The lecture series on ´Legal Methods´ deals with basic issues in Tax Law.
Dr. Nacke appointed as Honorary Professor
In March 2019, Dr. Alois Nacke, judge of the German Federal Tax Court, was appointed as Honorary Professor at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen by the Presidential Board. In the name of the Presidential Board and the Deanery of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Andreas Oestreicher presented the appointment certificate during a festive event on April 16, 2019.
