Office & Examination Administration
The GAUSS office supports the speaker and board with the organization of cross-program measures. The tasks include the data administration of doctoral students, supervisors and thesis committees. The scientific coordinator is in regular exchange with the GAUSS board, the program speakers and the representatives of the doctoral students.
The GAUSS office is the contact point for all general matters referring to GAUSS and the examination administration (Rebecca Willhardt) for the faculty programs.

Career Service and Alumni Network
Our career service provides support for all GAUSS postdoctoral scientists in their career planning and development in- and outside of academia. We offer a wide range of information sessions, seminars and workshops as well as networking events and individual counseling. Furthermore the coordinator is responsible for developing and supporting the GAUSS Alumni network.

Managing director
The managing director is head of the GAUSS office and represents the graduate school. He participates in the strategic planning and is responsible for the implementation of strategic decisions of the GAUSS board.

Person of trust for doctoral students
The GAUSS person of trust advises, and if possible, assists every doctoral
student having serious problems in connection with his or her supervision. This
is strictly confidential.

Student representatives
All GAUSS programs have their own student representatives (program representatives). The GAUSS representative and its deputy representative are members of the GAUSS board attending the board meetings. The representatives are a first point of contact in case of questions, suggestions for improvement, or expressing concerns or problems.
