Advisory Service and Information on Project Support
The team “Education and Mobility Programmes” provides information and advice on the funding schemes of the DAAD (Programmes for Universities, Programmes for Post-Docs), the EU programme Erasmus+ and the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions.
We provide consultation and support during the whole project lifecycle: From matching your project idea with the appropriate funding scheme to the application process and implementation up to the final report. We help with administrative details of proposal writing and (online) proposal submission, questions on EU/DAAD specific project regulations, as well as financial and reporting aspects incl. the implementation of mandatory audits.
Our Services for you:
Prior to Application- Consultation and matching of project with the appropriate funding scheme; consultation both during individual or group appointment
- Consultation on funding opportunities facilitating applications such as Fact-Finding Missions, etc.
- Consultation on application, esp. on specific rules and regulations of the funding agency as well as practical advice for completing the application
- Providing application documents for current call incl. application guides and - if possible - previously funded proposals
- Consultation on proposal-related issues such as special policies, data management, open science, ethics assessment, etc.
- Providing institutional data and standard text for application purposes, e.g. figures on research track record, number of project proposals funded, etc.
- Proofreading of proposal incl. assessment of application in both form and content (not in regard to scientific content
- Consultation and advice on budgetary questions and preparation of financial budget

If proposal is retained for funding:
- Obtaining signature by Presidential Board and/or Department of Finances (EU: Grant Agreement, DAAD: Zuwendungsvertrag),
- In-house coordination on all application-related issues with:

- Department of Finances
- Student and Academic Services
- Data Protection Officer
- University Equal Opportunities Officer
- Consultation and advice on reporting
- Assessment of financial reports (EU)
- Consultation on in-house procedures during project closing
- Consultation on possibilities of follow-up financing
- Consultation on audit-related questions and support with audit preparations (EU)
