Dr. Angelika J. Budjan
Dr. Angelika Budjan contributes to the project “Empirical Analyses of Emerging Donors in Development Cooperation (Empirische Analysen zu aufstrebenden Gebern in der Entwick-lungszusammenarbeit)“ lead by Prof. Andreas Fuchs and funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). She is currently a PhD candidate at Heidelberg University. Her research focus lies in the challenges that arise from the changing international donor landscape and the necessity to mainstream environmental sustainability into global poverty alleviation. She has conducted applied research with different international and non-governmental organisations, such as the World Bank, the European Commission Joint Research Center and the International Red Cross (IFRC). She hold an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and a BA in Philosophy and Economics from Bayreuth University.
