Erasmus+ Programme (2021 - 2027)
Erasmus+ is the EU programme to support education, training, youth and sport. The programme aims to boost the skills and employability of Europeans and to promote the development of education, training and child and youth services. In universities, the programme promotes cooperation across international universities in teaching and studying, for example, through stays abroad.
On 01 January 2021, the next generation of the Erasmus+ programme started, which will run until 31 December 2027. The new programme generation combines a high degree of continuity with programmatic innovations: While many of the familiar funding lines will be retained, new funding lines have been added and the programme structure adapted. At the same time, the EU Commission has set Digitalisation, Green Erasmus, Social Inclusion and Civic Engagement as new priorities for this programme generation.
