Talk "The Long Road to Social Security, (with Jan Breman)" by K.P. Kannan

The Modern Indian History Research Group invites you to a talk by K.P. Kannan on Friday, 14 November at 11 am (Waldweg 26, room 2.112). K.P. Kannan, a development economist, is a former Director and Fellow of the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He is currently Chairman of the Laurie Baker Centre for Habitat Studies, Thiruvananthapuram as well as Chairman of the Centre of Science and Technology for Rural Development (known as COSTFORD) in Kerala.
His areas of specialisation are Labour and Development, Poverty and Human Development and Environment and Development.
