Talk "Linguistic Situation in India and the Position of Bangla Therein"

Prof. Arun Kumar Ghosh talked on the 1st of Nov. about the "Linguistic Situation in India and the Position of Bangla Therein." Prof. Ghosh was Coordinator of the Department for Bengali at the University of Burdwan (India) until Sept. 2013. Starting in the winter semester 2013/14, he will be the "Tagore Chair for Bengali Language and Culture" at CeMIS. This professorship is sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) until February 2015.
