Curriculum Vitae


Jule studied the MSc. Sustainability Science at Leuphana University Lüneburg, where she focused on sustainability governance, environmental justice and biodiversity conservation. In her thesis, she examined the effectiveness of protected areas in which local actors were involved in decision-making. In February 2022, she joined the project KOOPERATIV as a research associate. In the work package Governance, she aims at identifying conditions that promote or hinder the cooperative implementation of flower strips in agro-ecosystems at landscape level.

Research Foci


Jule is particularly interested in studying participatory approaches to govern conservation measures, sustainability of social-ecological systems, and the cooperative implementation of agri-environmental schemes.
