Dr. Ianna Dantas
Dr. Ianna Dantas is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Ibero-America Institute for Economic Research involved in the EU project ENOUGH. In 2017 she integrated the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, where she developed research projects in the areas of natural resources and agricultural economics, while applying computable general equilibrium models and econometrics. Main research topics were natural resources management, water policy and economics, tropical deforestation, sustainable development goals, sustainable agriculture, land use change, and development economics. Dr. Ianna Dantas defended her doctoral dissertation "Essays on sustainable agriculture: studies on water, deforestation and family farming" in November 2022 under the Agricultural Economics chair at Kiel Christian-Albrechts-University. She has a master degree in Agricultural Economics from Hohenheim University and a Bachelor degree in Agricultural Engineering from University of São Paulo (Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture).
