Professor Stephan Klasen has made outstanding contributions to development economics in general and areas such as inequality and poverty in particular - which are one of my major research fields. Recognized by his peers, Professor Klasen is described by them as "A special and extremely committed person."
My objectives are to receive feedback on existing studies through presentations and discussions with colleagues and to develop them further thanks to the rich pool of researchers at the University of Göttingen. In addition, I intend to engage in existing projects with researchers and colleagues at the University. At the end of my 12 months at the University of Göttingen, I strongly believe I will learn from my colleagues and build a solid portfolio of relevant research.
Göttingen can be described as a beautiful garden - a pretty, green town with friendly, welcoming people.
I like walking to appreciate the beauty of an undervalued resource: nature. As a popular maxim says: "Nature is a good guide, when you live it, it shows you the way."
