Admission requirements
Bachelor Degree: A Bachelor Degree after at least six semesters of study at a German tertiary education institution in a relevant area, with a grade of at least 3.0 (satisfactory). Other corresponding academic degrees may also be recognised.
Language skills: Knowledge of at least two modern foreign languages, with at least one of these recognised at the B2 level in the Common European Reference Framework for Languages, is required.
Applicants whose native language is not German are required to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the German language (proof through the German Language Proficiency Test for Higher Education Entry for Foreign Students (DSH) or equivalent).
Covering letter: This should explain the motivation for undertaking the program and indicate research interests.
Selection interview: Themes covered in the selection interview will be the candidate's background in the subject-area, in particular their previous experience and knowledge in the areas of language and culture mediation, their own perception of the content of the program, together with professional and personal objectives that are relevant to their decision to undertake the program.
