Award for outstanding doctoral thesis

Dr Philine Krebs, Chair of Business Education and Human Resource Development, has won first prize for her outstanding doctoral thesis on ‘Entwicklung des politischen und wirtschaftsbürgerlichen Wissens in der kaufmännischen Ausbildung. Effekte der beruflichen Bildung auf den Wissenserwerb' (Development of political and economic knowledge in commercial education. Effects of vocational training on knowledge acquisition). She received the award at the annual conference of the Section for Vocational and Business Education on 25 September 2025.

As part of its efforts to promote young talent in business and vocational education, the foundation awards annual prizes for outstanding master's theses, dissertations, and postdoctoral theses.
