Research Foci
In her MSc thesis, Chaima Mobarak examined landscape change and social-ecological systems in the High Atlas of Morocco, focusing on dynamic shifts in the biocultural landscape through three dimensions: physical, institutional, and emotional changes. Her PhD research builds on this foundation, exploring how traditional ecological knowledge can be enhanced to foster climate resilience across three study sites in the High Atlas, each with distinct socio-economic influences.
