Dr. Yvonne Franke
Dr. Yvonne Franke was Acting Professor for the Sociology of Diversity at the Göttingen Diversity Research Institute from August 2020 to March 2021.
Dr. Yvonne Franke is a political scientist who earned her doctorate at the Otto-Suhr Institute, Free University Berlin. Since 2006, she has been conducting courses for students and doctoral candidates on topics such as global social inequality, sustainability/agro-food systems, qualitative research methods and social science theories, both as staff member and guest lecturer.
Dr. Yvonne Franke was the academic coordinator of the project "Diversity Turn in Land Use Science: The importance of social diversity for sustainable development - the case of vanilla farming in Madagascar" at the Diversity Research Institute from 2016 to 2020.
