Emmanuel Okonokwo at Koiotech GmbH in Göttingen
Emmanuel Okonokwo was lucky! With the help of the project Start Guides, he found a start-up company that was looking for exactly his programming skills.
The company Koiotech GmbH in Göttingen does optical measurement. Emmanuel's work is involved in a special programme that an international logistics company in Göttingen has commissioned. He is very happy with his work as a student trainee: "Programming doesn't feel like work to me. It's very creative. So when the end product succeeds in automatic measurement in the end, then I just really enjoy it! " Anthony Ion, one of three young founders, laughs: "Yes, we work closely together, our communication is open, we have no hierarchies, our employees all have an international background and most of us have just finished our studies or are about to complete their Master's degree." Emmanuel's German is improving every day. "I speak German with my colleagues during breaks. When things get technically complicated, we switch to English." Koiotech would like to take Emmanuel on after he finishes his studies, if they can afford to increase their workforce by then.
Emmanuel Okonokwo - educational background: Bachelor in Agricultural Studies in Nigeria; Master Student in Forest and Ecosystem Sciences at the University of Göttingen
