European Doctoral Day 2026

The University of Göttingen is taking part in the European initative on doctoral education and will celebrate European Doctoral Day 2026 on May 13th with an online event from 9h to 13h.

About the online event at the University of Göttingen:
The journey from start to finish is unique for every PhD student but still many PhD students share certain troubles as well as being able to benefit from developing specific skills. As part of the European Doctoral Day, we are offering a venue for current and prospective PhD students to listen to postdocs share valuable experiences from their time as PhD student as well as for PhD students to share and exchange their own experiences. We will also have a talk on mental health specifically for doctoral students, given by a trained psychologist and coach. The event is conducted as multiple talks, each with room for open discussions afterwards.
