Mubarak is a pre-doctoral research fellow at the Chair of Development Economics / CeMIS, where he contributes to research on the Global Health project on Access to Cardiometabolic Care (HPACC). He is interested in impact evaluation and global health issues such as technology adoption, nutrition, care access, and health system performance for non-communicable diseases in LMICs.
Mubarak, a Nigerian national, holds a master’s degree in development economics from the University of Göttingen. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics from Central University, Ghana. He has previously worked for the University of Göttingen, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and Samsung Electronics Nigeria. He is a member of the Chatham House CFC, the Global Health Hub Germany, and the Mercatus Institute’s Don Lavoie Fellowship.
