In this edition of our newsletter you will find information on our next MCS Study Day, and a reminder for our upcoming conference.

1. MCS STUDY DAY ON 6 MARCH 2013, 1-5 p.m., DEPARTMENT OF MUSICOLOGY

The MCS Study Days are chances for informal and in-depth discussion of recent and relevant literature to the field of music and conflict. This Study Day will focus on the following three texts, all of which are available from our library:

Study Days are open to all, but for organisational reasons we request registration by no later than 4 March to the following address: mcs-info@uni-goettingen.de


2. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "MUSIC IN DETENTION", 15-16 MARCH 2013

The deadline for registration for the conference is 10 March. In order to help us cover running costs, non-speaking participants who are not staff or students of the University of Göttingen are asked to pay a small fee of € 25.
