Research at the Reinshof Experimental Farm

Since the beginning of the 1980´s, the experiments conducted at Reinshof have been focused on the development of environmentally friendly farming systems. Through long terms research project designs, practical use systems (intensification/ integrated farming systems) have been developed. since 1993, organic farming research projects have also been completed on the farm.

The field area can be broken down as follows:

Nurseries and experimental plots: about 25 ha
Similar experimental facility at Marienstein: about 31 ha
Organic farming research: about 25 ha
Crop (seed) research 12 ha
