Vincenzo Romaniello (Napoli, Italy)
Hi, my name is Vincenzo and I´m living in Göttingen since 2010. I arrived here almost by chance and was a bit skeptic all about Germany: the weather and the food appeared not to be as good as the italian ones. Despite that I decided to try this adventure. And I'm happy I did it! Once in Göttingen the first impact was very positive: I found a cozy city, bike-friendly and with plenty of green around. On top of that, I experienced here a vibrant nightlife and enjoyed the presence of people from all over the world. This was something I could never suspect to be possibile for such a small city like Göttingen is. Now I can definitively say that I made the right choice coming here!
Educational background: Bachelor in Biotechnology at the University of Naples; Master in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Naples; PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine
