Active Directory
The most important feature of the Active Directory structure is the "single sign on". This allows users to access all computers and services for which they are authorized after a one-time authentication, without having to log in each time. By default, each user has only one account. If a person has multiple roles in the system, he or she can use multiple accounts.When you start your studies or employment, you will be given access to the computers and an official e-mail address.
The access to the computers is done with the spelling of the user name:
for students ug-student\Username
for employees gwdg\Username
