Changing of gut microbe during gut transit of earthworms in response to different earthworm species and litter quality

I am a PhD student in soil ecology at Nanjing Agricultural University in China. My main research focuses on the diversity of ecological functions of bacterial communities in the earthworm gut under soil antibiotic stress. I am particularly interested how gut microbes respond to soil antibiotics, especially how phages assist bacteria in resisting antibiotic stress.

Currently, I am working as visiting PhD student in the Animal Ecology lab of Stefan Scheu (02.2023 – 02. 2025) on "Changing of the gut microbiome during the gut transit of different species of earthworms as affected by litter quality".
