Dorothea Meyer
Dorothea Meyer has been a doctoral student at the Marketing Chair of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences since autumn 2022. Agricultural policy controversies surrounding animal husbandry and modern agriculture were what motivated her to first complete her Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness (B.Eng.) in Osnabrück and then go on to complete her Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences with a focus on Agribusiness (M.Sc.) at the Georg-August University of Göttingen. In numerous internships she explored the structures along the agricultural value chain. In addition to her doctorate, she works as a research assistant for agricultural policy for a member of parliament in the German Bundestag. Her goal is to further explore the challenges and opportunities for agriculture in the interplay of societal demands, political framework conditions and practical feasibility.
