Completion grants
Please note: The application deadlines for completion grants are June 15 and December 15. There is a prior consultation requirement for applying for a completion grant. Please make an appointment with the office!Towards the end of the doctoral period, things occasionally get tight - both financially and in terms of time. Our final grant allows concentrated completion of the dissertation.
The completion grant is awarded for a maximum period of 3 months and with a funding amount of €1,450 (plus a child supplement if applicable).
Emergency grants
The aim of this funding line is to contribute to the continuous progress and successful completion of doctoral projects by providing short-term support to doctoral students in financial emergencies for which they are not responsible.The emergency grant is awarded for a maximum period of 3 months. The grant is endowed with the current BAföG maximum rate (plus a child supplement if applicable).
