In our PC-Pools we provide about 200 powerful workstations, printers, scanners and an extensive amount of software. Our mainfloors can be found on the 5th, 6th and 7th level of the "Blauer Turm" (MZG). Our seminar/tutorial rooms in the "Blauer Turm" can be used by 20-50 participants and each is equipped with video projectors and document cameras or overhead projectors. Furthermore you can use a multimedia double projection system on the 5th and 6th floor; on the 6th floor even a microphone is provided.
The core opening hours of the Blauen Turm are from Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm.
Account
To be able to use the PCs in the PC-Pool it is necesarry to have a personal account (username and password), which is used for identification purposes and protects your personal data.
Students will be given these accounts usually at the time of enrollment.
Students of the faculty of economics and social sciences can additionally use their accounts to access PCs in the WiSo-Rechenzentrum (Computing Center).
Not from the WiWi or SoWi faculty?
Students from other faculties, who need to attend a course at our PC-Pools, can fill out a usage agreement form to gain access. It is available here or at the helpdesk on the 7th floor. The usage agreement needs to be signed by the responsible tutor.
