Confidential contact / counsellor of the Faculty of Geoscience and Geography

The confidential contact / counsellor serves as the first point of contact for all faculty members in the event of serious problems and conflicts of any kind, including those relating to issues of safeguarding good academic practice and complaints management in accordance with Section 24 of the QMO-SL. He*she listens to you, advises you confidentially, mediates or, if necessary, establishes contact with suitable bodies such as the university's ombudsman committee.

Prof Dr Volker Thiel has been responsible for this task at our faculty since the summer semester 2018.
