Andrea D. Bührmann is First Speaker of the "Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Einrichtungen für Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung in Niedersachsen (LAGEN)". The Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony supports the headquarters of LAGEN as part of their efforts to support womens' and gender studies and to increase equal opportunities in academia.
